Breathe in the pure air of the banks of the Charente, on the terrace, or admire the bucolic panorama which is revealed through the glass roof. The bistronomic cuisine, revealing the treasures of the region, delights the taste buds.
Take a seat around one of the tables, along the magnificent glass roof. Observe the ballet of walkers under the tall trees on the river bank, or turn your gaze to the huge park bordering the historic building of the Corderie Royale de Rochefort. Our menu showcases the best of local products : pineau des Charentes, cheeses from La Vache Charentaise or oysters from oyster farmer Philippe Menadier. Even closer, the herbs from the vegetable garden flavor each of our dishes. Lamb shank, our signature dish, goes wonderfully well with potato mousseline and ratatouille. Looking for simplicity for lunch? Instead, choose one of our salads, between land and sea.Our chef puts the small dishes in the big ones, with a meticulous presentation. In fine weather, sit on the shaded terrace, guessing the flavors of the cocktail of the week. A few chairs dot the lawn and invite you to soak up the calm of the place even more.
