This small restaurant takes place in the heart of the city center, in an alley overlooking the Old Port.
Created by Cyril Brilleau, accustomed to the old rum bar of the same name, it offers two different worlds. We particularly appreciate the two small table in the rue du Port but also the backyard that offers more calm.
• Of course here, the stars of the menu are the oysters : full sea of the Boucholeurs or special traditional Roumégous house, more refined.
• Other seafood products, always very fresh, are offered : smoked salmon with salt from Ré island or homemade sardine rillettes.
• If you don’t like seafood, don’t worry ! The Comptoir also offers products from the farm such as dried sausage, a mature cheeses plate or local meats, and even vinegar Salicorne sprouts.
• For dessert, only one desire : devour the regional sweets : Jonchée (fresh local cheese) with bitter almond water and brown sugar, cheese cake and the delicious homemade gingerbread and caramel cream with honey.
Note that two menus are offered : sea and terroir
