Very beautiful and large beach. The best on the island of Oleron for wave lovers. Large car park but be careful closed on Wednesdays in high season a small train will take you to the beach.
L'Embellie beach is a few kilometers south of Ronce les Bains towards Royan. It joins the Spanish Point, which is very turbulent. You can also walk there.
Magnificent beach located to the south of the Ile d'Oléron, accessible among other things by the Trojan tourist train. The site is particularly well maintained and the space is large enough to avoid being on top of each other. Near the beach are the remains of the wreck of the cargo ship "Presidente Viera" which ran aground here in 1916 after a strong storm.
