  Wild place with enough space in July not to be stuck to everyone, beautiful white pebbles to occupy children and adults 😅 unsupervised beach and buckets and shovels available at the entrance....

  In our experience, Huttopia always offers at least good quality. The campsite on the Île de Ré is something special. It's actually right on the beach. The reception was good, the pitches are relatively sandy and quite flat. Electricity is available, but with a Euro plug/adapter. The sanitary facilities are good and clean, cleaning starts as early as 7 a.m. The toilets have something of an open-air feeling, and you almost hit your head on the door... The access through the Dort Ste. Marie de Ré is not entirely without it, but it is quite doable. The paths to the parking spaces are quite narrow. I recommend a trip to the village of La Flotte on the other side of the island, by bike if possible, almost entirely on separate paths.
