Open from April to October, 2026, the entire team at Camping Le Sous Bois welcomes you and advises you on discovering the many activities to share with your family on the island of Oléron.

Treat yourself to a relaxing break surrounded by nature at Camping Le Sous Bois. Nestled in a lush, unspoiled setting, the Atlantique Spa mobile home combines comfort and privacy, with a private spa for four people. Between the warm water, massage jets, and tranquil surroundings, everything is in place for a truly relaxing experience.

At the reception of Camping Le Sous Bois, a shop showcases the flavors of Île d'Oléron through a selection of local products: honey, artisanal jams, rillettes, wines, pineau, and other regional specialties. Everything you need to extend the holiday spirit and discover the area in a new way.

Bread and pastries

A bread and pastry delivery service is also available upon reservation the day before for the following day.

Food-trucks 

In July & August, our food-trucks are on site every day, on the menu, depending on the day: galettes & crêpes, muselles & fries, spanish tapas, fry stand classics. Off-season, you'll find several food-trucks on selected days.

Barbecues:

A communal barbecue is available for you to prepare your grilled food in a friendly atmosphere, to then enjoy quietly on your private terrace.

Bicycle rentals:

Camping Le Sous Bois offers an on-site bike rental service, ideal for exploring the island of Oléron.

With its numerous cycle paths, the island is perfect for rides between beaches, forests, and marshes. Bicycles for everyone, as well as suitable accessories, are available to fully enjoy these excursions.

Play areas:

Children and adults alike will find plenty to enjoy thanks to the leisure areas available on site.

A play area welcomes the youngest children, while the older ones can enjoy facilities dedicated to outdoor activities and moments of conviviality : a bowling green, a ping-pong table and a multi-sports field for football, basketball, volleyball or handball.

The shuttles:

During the summer season, free shuttle buses serve the island of Oléron, making it easy to get around without a car. Located near the campsite, they provide easy access to the beaches, the port of La Cotinière, the island's main attractions, and leisure activities.
