Directions Le Chai de la Grand'Côte - Guided tours in a wine cellar on the island of Oléron

About

  • English
    • Located north of the fishing port of La Cotinière, in the commune of Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, our vineyard, built up over generations, extends over 26 ha.

Initially planted with Ugni blanc, intended for the distillation of spirits for the production of Cognac, it was gradually enriched with grape varieties such as Colombard, for the whites, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for the reds (Vins de Pays and Pineau des Charentes).

Our first vintage of Pineau des Charentes, 2000 harvest, was bottled in 2002. Since then, we have produced, aged and bottled all our Pineau des Charentes, Cognac, liqueurs and Vins de pays charentais from the island of Oléron.

Come and visit us at La Menounière all year round, in our traditional wine cellar. And if you wish, we will help you discover our passion and our terroir...

You can also find us in season at the La Cotinière and Saint-Denis markets.

Our hours vary, it is best to contact us.
If you would like to visit our cellars as a group and taste our products, please contact us on 06 83 99 70 14.
