  DECENT BEACH WITH GOOD FACILITIES. Bit of a cycle if you are not staying local. Large car park if you are driving, large bike parking area if you are on the 🚲. There is a public toilet also which was clean both times we used it. Short stroll from the car park to the beach. In comparison to Irish beaches like Dog's Bay...this is "OK". It's fairly rocky, but once the tide went out you could walk beyond the rocks and frolic on nice sand. Best of the beaches we visited on Ill de re.

  Wow, we love it here. Île-de-Ré is off the scale beautiful and this beach is the icing on the cake!! Even in the middle of August it never seems to be busy. Big wide clean beaches and the most fabulous "lazy river" currents when the tide is high. The love we have for this corner of the world is hard to put into words. Simply divine.
