Plassac Castle Exceptional cognacs distilled in Charente Maritime

The Château de Plassac, a jewel of Charente heritage and property of the Dampierre family, combines winemaking passion, tradition and the French art of living.

For over two centuries and eight generations, the Dampierre family has been producing exceptional Cognacs at Château de Plassac. The wines, made from Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes grown exclusively on the estate's vineyards, are distilled in a traditional pot still using the double distillation method typical of the Charente region. The resulting Cognac eaux-de-vie are then aged for 15 to 20 years in oak barrels bearing the family crest.

The magnificent Château de Plassac is proud to produce cognacs that have been acclaimed many times, such as at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2015, where the XO obtained 5 gold medals.
