The Château de Plassac, a jewel of Charente heritage and property of the Dampierre family, combines a passion for wine, tradition and the French art of living.
For over two centuries and eight generations, the Dampierre family has been producing exceptional Cognacs at Château de Plassac. The wines made from the Ugni Blanc and Colombard grape varieties, sourced exclusively from the estate's vines, are distilled in the traditional still using the Charente double distillation method. The cognac eaux-de-vie are then aged for between 15 and 20 years in oak barrels bearing the family's coat of arms.
The magnificent Château de Plassac is proud to produce cognacs that have won many awards, such as at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris in 2015, where the XO won 5 gold medals.
