Plage aux Coquillages de l'île d'Aix The Beaches of Charente Maritime in Île-d'Aix

A beach located to the east of the island, with a few rocks that reveal themselves at low tide. It is wild, unsupervised, there is a little vegetation around. It is a beach suitable for walking. This is one of the first beaches you can access when you disembark, it is not far from the Maison de la Nacre. The sand there is quite rustic, it is mixed with wild oyster shells, which gives its name to this intimate and pleasant beach. This beach is also sometimes called the Plage de l'Anse du Saillant.
