Plassac Castle

The Plassac Castle, a jewel of the Charentais heritage and property of the Dampierre family, combines viticultural passion, tradition and French art of living.

For over two centuries and eight generations, the Dampierre family has produced exceptional Cognacs at Plassac Castle. The wines made from white ugni and colombards grape varieties exclusively from the property's vines are distilled in the traditional still while respecting Charentaise double distillation. The cognac brandies are then aged between 15 and 20 years in oak barrels struck with the arms of the family.

The magnificent Plassac Castle is proud to produce cognacs that have won numerous plebiscites such as at the general agricultural competition in Paris in 2015, where the XO and obtained 5 gold medals.
