Founded by Denis Lavaud in 1996, L'Angélys won 20 years later the certification "Glaces Artisanales de France". Indeed, the master glacier craftsman has worked according to the rules of the art since its inception: use of natural materials, no addition of aromas, artificial coloring or vegetable fats.
In addition, Denis Lavaud works to constantly improve his products and is currently working on processes intended to reduce the sweetness of recipes, by around 20%.
Preservative-free, gluten-free, palm oil-free, and no lactose in the sorbets, compatible with a vegan diet.With 170 different products, L'Angélys sorbets and ice creams have something to meet all your expectations. In twenty-five years, the Saintongeais glacier has innovated a lot and developed nearly 500 different recipes thanks to the experience acquired.
THE POWER OF FRUIT
For innovation, there are no written rules… but inspirations and desires. Little focused on desserts, Denis Lavaud imagines new ice cream projects while cooking, in particular. “As soon as I eat something, I know immediately if it can be made into ice cream. I have been doing this for forty years…”, reveals our master ice cream maker, passionate about both sweet and savory. As our artisanal ice creams do not include artificial flavors, it is a fine balance to be found.
