Chateau Guynot estate A memorable souvenir from Charente-Maritime

Located between Saintes (a Gallo-Roman town) and Royan, the Château Guynot estate, former residence of the Marquis de Monconseil, still bears the marks of its history. Its 18th-century icehouse stands in the heart of a wooded park, alongside a vaulted cellar and former moats with balustrades.

• July and August : Monday to Saturday, Sunday by appointment.
• September to June : Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday by appointment.

• Every Thursday : Chocolate, Pineau and Cognac Association.

• The Vineyard

Located in one of the four premier crus of the Cognac appellation area, the estate covers 52 ha.

The subtle blend of noble Cognac grape varieties — Ugni Blanc and Colombard for the whites, and Merlot and Cabernet for the rosés —combined with our finest Cognacs, gives our Pineau des Charentes fruitiness, harmony, and elegance. Wines and liqueurs

• Distillation

It is through the double distillation process in traditional Charente copper stills that the wine is transformed into brandy which, after a long aging process, will become cognac.

• Aging

Housed in oak barrels, our products, in the tranquility of our cellars, after many years of aging, will give their best aromas.

• The assembly

The art of creating subtle blends of different eaux-de-vie for each range of cognac (XO, VSOP, ...).

Come and discover and taste our Cognacs, our Pineaux but also our other ranges (Evasion - grape juice and sparkling cognac - Liqueur, Vins de Pays de Cépage, Sparkling Wines).
