The Enchanted Farm

We are breeders and producers of ostriches and snails in Jonzac, Charente Maritime.

My husband and I started the adventure in January 2019 with the purchase of a 4 hectare farm.

After years as an engineer and salesman travelling the world, the time had come for us to put down our suitcases loaded with experience in a place that is dear to us, our region.

The desire to be down to earth, to farm, to be closer to family, to return to our region that we know well, to live a simpler but no less intense life... this was the initial project.

After two years of research and more than a year of preparation, the project was born.

We are happy with our decision and with the fact that we can offer you healthy, quality products. At the enchanted farm you will find ostrich meat, terrines, rillettes and sausages as well as ostrich eggs. We also offer you snails Petits gris in frozen form or in verrines. 

ALL our ostrich and snail terrines are home-made recipes made with healthy products without preservatives.

But, by the way, why the enchanted farm? A nod to the enchanted carousel with Pollux (our red tomcat), Ambroise (our snails), Zébulon (our ostriches) and above all this magical place of 4 hectares.
