L'Esprit du 8 is a unique place in Rochefort. This vast private mansion from 1830, located in the historic center, was the sub-prefecture of Charente-Maritime for nearly 150 years.
The guest rooms are very spacious and each bears the name of a 20th- century female designer . They are decorated with designer, industrial furniture and favorite second-hand objects.
Passionate about old stones, vintage furniture, old cars, we have found the ideal place to share our passions with you. You will enjoy a privileged setting with closed indoor parking and the possibility of relaxing in a large garden by the swimming pool, a few steps from the Corderie Royale, the Hermione or the Place des Demoiselles de Rochefort.
