Campsite Les Baleines - 4 stars Camping in Saint-Clément-des-Baleines

What could be better than a holiday at the foot of the famous Phare des Baleines lighthouse on the Île de Ré to truly disconnect ? Our charming, family-run campsite, with its traditional atmosphere and 149 camping pitches and only 24 rental accommodations, is ideal for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. You'll appreciate the tranquility of the setting. With no organized activities or swimming pool, nature and peace will set the rhythm of your stay. From the campsite, the cycle path offers numerous opportunities for rides to the salt marshes or the market in Ars-en-Ré.

In the morning, our bakery opens at 8:00 am and offers breakfasts on our lovely terrace.

We offer large camping pitches, 3 new sanitary facilities also equipped for babies and people with reduced mobility, a motorhome waste disposal area and a laundry.

We are committed to eco-responsible and sustainable tourism through several initiatives. For 10 years, we have been certified with the European Ecolabel and for 6 years, a member of 1% for the Planet.

In 2023, we partnered with Fredon Nouvelle-Aquitaine for a plant assessment of our campsite and finalized our CSR approach. We are also committed locally as a responsible stakeholder, working towards a more sustainable region.
