An unmissable visit during your stay on the Ile de Ré!
Built in 1849 and inaugurated in 1854, to replace the old tower built under Vauban (today classified as a Historic Monument), the whale lighthouse offers you, from its 57m height, a magnificent panorama over the whole of the island of Ré but also a beautiful view towards Oléron, its neighbor.
