  Very nice Camp Site and the the Staff were lovely always pleasant . Fresh bread available every day served by nice people who always smiled when i was trying my best French. If we are still on the Planet in 2024 we will look forward to seeing you all again. Kind Regards Marshall and Gail Blair

  A piece of heaven Puits de l'Auture is a remarkable destination - we have been coming here for 25 years and seem to never tire. We love the tranquility and position so close to La Grand Cote yet a short bike rise away from St Palais, and the track through the pine forest to La Palmyre is lovely - and then on to Phare de la Coubre. The camp site has good facilities that are clean and well looked after and the grounds are immaculate, a tribute to the gardening crew. For us, this is heaven, peace and tranquility among very agreeable surroundings. We love it and will continue to return for as long as we can.

  Booked 3 nights and stayed for 5 This campsite provided a much needed break from travelling and provided fantastic facilities in the perfect setting. Situated adjacent to the sea, you can literally walk over the road, and after an easy climb down, find yourself on a gorgeous sandy beach. Access is limited by the tide, but it is great for quick dip and a few hours sunbathing. For a longer visit, there is another beach a 10 min walk north that is accessible all day. The walk to this beach takes you past numerous restaurants that offer excellent food for a fair price. the site has excellent facilities which are kept very clean. We chose a shady pitch to the back of the site which offered great access to the facilities. The only thing lacking is a swimming pool, but with the beaches so close, this did not bother us at all and perhaps helps keep the site more appealing to adult couples without small children, which suited us just fine. One of the highlights for us was the shop on the seafront, which was only a 3 min walk from reception that sold amazing seafood. We bought giant prawns and mussels and enjoyed them back on our pitch on a few occasions. The staff are super helpful, they speak excellent English and we’re keen to help make our stay a good one. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stopped for a couple of extra nights. We highly recommend this place and will likely return next year.
