The Hôtel de France , in the heart of Rochefort, very close to the Tourist Office and the famous Place Colbert, welcomes you all year round with its 25 tastefully decorated rooms . Free parking directly opposite the hotel makes parking very easy.
In the heart of Charente-Maritime, Rochefort boasts remarkable sites and monuments that are absolutely worth discovering, such as the frigate Hermione, the Royal Rope Factory, and the Maritime Museum, which offer a fabulous journey into the past. But Rochefort is also the ideal base for exploring the many attractions of the department : the Île d'Oléron, the Île de Ré, the Île d'Aix, and La Rochelle!
Our hotel was built in the 17th century , and has always had this status, a famous French writer even stayed here... Listed as a Historic Monument , this remarkable building has welcomed its visitors through the centuries, combining comfort and a family atmosphere.
