Promenade en mer Tim kil Discover the Marennes-Oléron basin by catamaran

Located at the Port of La Cayenne in Marennes, Charente-Maritime, Promenade en Mer Tim Kil offers catamaran trips in the heart of the Marennes-Oléron basin. Aboard a catamaran that can accommodate up to 48 passengers, visitors discover one of the most preserved maritime areas on the Atlantic coast, between oyster farms, wild landscapes and the unobstructed horizon of the island of Oléron.

Three options are available to suit all tastes. The one-hour Discovery Cruise offers a tour of the oyster beds and the secrets of the bay, ideal for a first experience with family or friends. The 90-minute Cruise and Tasting Cruise provides a more comprehensive experience, with fresh oysters paired with white wine served on board as you cruise. Finally, the two-hour Sunset and Seafood Cruise invites passengers to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the bay while savoring a seafood platter —a particularly popular experience in the summer.

All trips are narrated by the captain, who shares his knowledge of the area and local oyster farming culture. Departure is from the Port of La Cayenne, easily accessible from Marennes, Bourcefranc-le-Chapus and the surrounding area of Île d'Oléron.
