    • In the heart of Château d'Oléron, Marie Wood offers breakfast, brunch from 10am to 12pm, and from 8am on weekends, lunch and daily specials from 12pm to 2pm as well as an afternoon snack break.

      In a soft and cozy setting, you will discover sweet and savory flavors prepared by the team.

      After a stroll through the market, a surfing session on the beach, or before starting a day of sightseeing, your sweet treat stop is right here!

      Closed on Mondays except public holidays and from July 14th to August 23rd ( open 7 days a week ).

      Open from April 4 to September 27, 2026.

    Extreme disappointment We went there because of the good Google reviews. The portions are ridiculously small. Avocado toast with just a little cream cheese and mashed avocado. One sauce and an extra €2 for eggs or bacon. So €14.50 per plate. Luckily I ordered the extra egg, otherwise there would have been nothing to eat. For the other dishes, we were served inedible burnt potatoes. In short, very disappointed. Expensive for so little on the plate. Friendly service, but very disappointed by the contents of the plate.

    We had an absolutely delicious meal! Burritos and pancakes with maple syrup, and a very special mention for the incredibly gooey brookie—I've never had anything like it! Amazing!!!

    A cozy little restaurant, Marie Wood's. The lady who served us was very kind and accommodating. The avocado toast and burritos were delicious. Highly recommended!
