Le Chai de la Grand'Côte Visit a traditional wine cellar in a group in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron

Located north of the fishing port of La Cotinière, in the commune of Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, our vineyard, built up over generations, covers 26 hectares.

Initially planted with Ugni blanc, intended for the distillation of eaux-de-vie for the production of Cognac, it has gradually been enriched with grape varieties such as Colombard, for whites, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for reds (Vins de Pays and Pineau des Charentes).

Our first vintage of Pineau des Charentes, from the 2000 harvest, was bottled in 2002. Since then, we have produced, aged and bottled all our Pineau des Charentes, Cognac, liqueurs and Charentais country wines from the island of Oléron.
