After spending ten years in a wine estate in the Rhône Valley in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, Jean-Paul took over the family business in 2000. Back in Charentes, he continued his parents' cognac and pineau production.
The estate is located in the town of Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde next to Port Maubert and halfway between Talmont and Blaye. Nestled on the edge of the Estuary, at the foot of the Beaumont Tower, on the limestone hillsides and swept by the sea breeze, this estate has an exceptional terroir. On the strength of his experience, Jean-Paul produces wines from the Charente region. Faithful to traditional methods and anxious to protect this terroir, he produces and harvests Chardonnay and Merlot grapes manually.
Passionate, he will show you around his estate, his distillery, talk to you about his working method and share with you a friendly moment around a tasting of his products (pineau, local Charentais wines, traditional method "Perles Marines" and sparkling of grapes).
