Maison Margat Production of quality oysters and mussels in Fouras

A family business passed down from father to son since 1937, Maison Margat invites you to stop by and discover its production of oysters and mussels, raised from start to finish in Fouras. A know-how passed down through five generations.

Alone Local shellfish farmers offer these products and other seafood (platters available to order) for individual purchase and/or for tasting in an idyllic setting in the designated tasting area. Authenticity, conviviality, and tranquility are the hallmarks of the establishment.

On the menu from April to October? An iodine cure: oysters, mussels and fries (in season), crab, pink prawns, grey prawns, whelks... All with your feet practically in the water!

Didier, Mike, Laurent, Faustine and Laëtitia welcome you to Maison Margat throughout the year (opening hours vary by season).

Schedules :

• January : CLOSED.
• February to mid-May : school holidays and weekends from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm.
• May to early November : 7 days a week from 10am to 7:30pm.
• December : school holidays and weekends from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6pm.
