    • In the heart of a wine estate, located 30 minutes from the sea, at the foot of Saintes, between a distillery and Cognac and Pineau des Charentes aging cellars, the gîtes of Domaine des Forges, (18th, late 19th century accommodation), were renovated in 2008.

      This small village has its own grocery store, where you can also find good bread.

      A municipal tennis court and hiking trails, one of which passes right through the Domaine des Forges, allow everyone to find something to do.

    The staff are extremely friendly and the tour itself offers you a look at artisanal, independent cognac production. A very distinct experience from touring one of the core four houses - and worth doing if you’re spending a day in Cognac
