A beautiful residence located in the former Arsenal, very well located, on the edge of the marina, a stone's throw from the Corderie Royale: the location is perfect! Five of us came and stayed in a spacious and very well-equipped duplex apartment. Sheets, towels, tea towels, trash bags—everything was provided to make us feel comfortable. There were a few minor "negative" points, but they didn't dampen our enthusiasm, notably the fact that the blinds aren't blackout enough (which is annoying in June). We didn't purchase any extras, which were quite expensive (breakfast, parking, etc.). Note that parking spaces are expensive in Rochefort, but there is free parking near the residence. Access to the residence isn't very well signposted: it's via the food quay, to the right of the "La Cantina" restaurant (an Italian restaurant where the food is good and reasonably priced), then the Concierge Service is on the right of the courtyard, at the "Annexe," to collect the keys. A great stay for excellent value for money.

I highly recommend the Résidence de l'Arsenal, which gave us complete satisfaction during our stay in Rochefort. I find this architect magnificent, which already justifies my enthusiasm. Everything is new, impeccable, and I find it remarkable to restore 18th-century military buildings to this extent. Especially if they are from Le Vaux! It feels very luxurious. Everything is there, and our studio is very comfortable. The adjoining restaurants are also perfect and very reasonably priced. The reception service is... welcoming! 🤗

3 nights in this residence, everything was good: a small functional kitchen, good bedding, recent renovation and nice decor. I would have given the location 5 stars if I had been lucky enough to have a view of the port
