- The Hameau de Saintonge, holiday residence, is ideally located between land and sea, 18 km from Rochefort and Surgères, 14 km from the A10 exit of Saint-Jean-d'Angély, 25 minutes from the first beaches, on the banks of the Boutonne river, in the village of Tonnay-Boutonne.
  
  For a night, a weekend, a week, upon your arrival you will be warmly welcomed by Séverine and Jérôme in one of the 25 2-bedroom accommodations (accommodating 1 to 8 people), all on one level spread over 3 hectares of calm and green space.
  
  For stays of up to 3 nights, bed and bath linens are provided, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Optional for longer stays.
  
  ON SITE: pétanque grounds, multi-sports ground, children's play area, ping-pong, barbecue, plus July and August bar/snack bar, heated swimming pool and paddling pool, inflatable structure, games room, mini-golf.
  
  Group reception, room rental.

During a national effort to address the floods in Charente-Maritime, the Civil Protection service was warmly welcomed by Séverine and Jérôme at this welcoming establishment. For seven days, up to 70 volunteers were able to stay in the chalets of the Hameau de Saintonge and share memorable moments in the reception hall. Without the adaptability of our hosts, such a deployment of resources to help the flood victims of Charente-Maritime would not have been possible. Thank you to them!

Following the floods in Saintes and the surrounding area, the Civil Protection service deployed a team of 80 rescuers from all over France. We had the opportunity to stay at the "Le Hameau de Saintonge" residence in Tonnay-Boutonne. We would like to warmly thank the owners for their kindness, availability, and responsiveness. This allowed us to accommodate our teams in much-appreciated comfort and to rest after busy days. Many thanks from all the rescuers and the entire accommodation team.

We rented the estate for our wedding in November 2025. We chose this venue because it offers accommodations. We were able to easily settle in and immerse ourselves in the spaces. The reception hall and chalets are well-equipped. The meeting room was a real bonus, allowing us to use it as a dedicated children's room nearby. Our guests appreciated the setting; however, some had difficulty finding their chalet in the middle of the night (lack of signage indicating chalet numbers and lighting). Overall, we recommend Le Hameau.
