- In Ronce Les Bains, the seaside resort of La Tremblade, the beach of Cèpe is wild, on the edge of the dune and the forest of La Coubre. You can get there on foot from the city center, after a short walk. In summer the atmosphere is good with restaurants along the coast, less waves than on the other beaches in the region, but you still cannot swim at low tide, remember to consult the tide schedules before come. The beach is not supervised.

A cool beach where you will find much less people than others on the west side. However when it is getting high Tide the water almost reach the forest just behind the beach area so you will not have much space to settle down on the sand. A good point for little kids is that the water level is pretty shallow (and quite warm) near the shore so it is much safer as they can keep foot contact with the ground (still better to wear the life vest anyways). If you go to swim a bit further than the shore there is a medium current that is pushing you laterally but you still can swim easily to reach back the shore. You have a nice track through the pine trees forest behind that you could ride on bike or just walk.

Right next to bramble baths. Unfortunately, you can only swim there at high tide. At low tide, you can fish on foot, walk or cycle.

Disappointed. I thought I would find a nice beach. brown water with black reflections. 3 meter beach with 1 meter of algae
