Côte sauvage Nature Reserves in La Tremblade

The Côte Sauvage corresponds to the coast of the Arvert peninsula. This long beach stretches between the mouth of the Seudre and the mouth of the Gironde. It is bordered by the Forest of Coubre-La Tremblade which occupies almost the entire town of La Tremblade. To take the measure, do not hesitate to climb on the dune ridge, between the beach and the forest. At the Spanish Point , you will enjoy the panorama over the mouth of the Seudre and the Ile d'Oléron . On the other hand, at the Pointe de la Coubre , you will admire the Bay of Bonne Anse and in the distance the Cordouan Lighthouse . If you are tempted by swimming or surfing, be careful because the currents are treacherous and it is a dangerous area.
