Embarcadère de Bazoin Nature Reserves in La Ronde

In the town of La Ronde, to the north of the Pays d'Aunis, the Bazoin Pier is located on what is called a “hydraulic node”. It allows you to discover different territories over the water. Located on the outskirts of the Marais Poitevin Natural Park , it is one of the entry gates to the marsh. You can also go down the Sèvre Niortaise towards La Rochelle. Along the canals, you will walk the Conches around the river Le Vieux Béjou and the canal du Nouveau Béjou. Hiking circuits follow the rivers of the Mignon . Located at the junction between two departments, it is a good opportunity to take a tour in Vendée, going up the Vieille Autise and its canal.

The pier is a site classified as “Échappées Nature” and a leisure center that offers many activities: boat trips, kayak or canoe rental, bicycles, hiking trails, etc.
