What a strange idea to raise ostriches??? In 2015, a life change gave Carole the inspiration she needed to carry out a project: to create an ostrich farm. She did so after numerous internships and training courses!
She will show you around her farm to discover the largest bird found on earth. This curious and unpredictable prehistoric animal will captivate and surprise you!
Does the ostrich really put its head in the sand? Does it fly? How fast does it run? Etc... Carole will give you all the answers! You will learn about this beautiful bird from the egg to incubation, the birth of the ostrich chicks to adulthood.
Visits by appointment on Wednesdays 10 a.m. or 3 p.m. or Saturdays 10 a.m. or 3 p.m.
You can find all ostrich products and derivatives: meat, eggs (in season), pâté, terrine, rillettes, preserves, sausages, cosmetics made from ostrich fat, stuffed animals, etc.
