Directions Prehistozen - La Roche Courbon - Step back in time in the footsteps of prehistory in Saint-Porchaire

About

  • English
    • Along the Bruant, go back in time during a walk of about 1 hour . This walk will take you back to the time of prehistoric man on the privileged estate of La Roche Courbon, in the middle of wild and preserved nature. You will discover reconstructed camps of Homo Erectus (Héhé camp), Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens (Osapi camp, Ramého camp). Imagine making a fire with Neanderthals to get together in the caves!

At each campsite, as well as in the caves, information panels present the evolution of prehistoric man in our territory, from the arrival of Homo Erectus to the beginning of the Iron Age. Information concerning botany is also visible.

Ti'Silex offers puzzles along the way. A game booklet helps children follow him on his adventures throughout the walk. We also offer a paper guide with additional information to complement your visit.

Experience a moment out of time!
