    • Our story begins in the summer of 2020, when Tom and Bruno meet for the first time on the island of Oléron.

      One comes from Franche-Comté from the IT field and the other comes back from a few years spent in New Caledonia in the world of cycling. Here they fell in love with the light with its beaches for surfing and its decorations worthy of a postcard.

      Our two funny birds had the idea of setting up a business bringing together two things they love, bars and bicycles. After months of work to mature the project, baràvélo was born in April 2021 in the town of Domino, a small holiday village with unparalleled charm.

    They make AMAZING baskets too - upcycled oyster basketry turned into bike panniers, veg racks, handbags - even soap rack for the shower! Brilliant and inventive - saving the planet a step at a time!!

    Superb experience with the rental of these 2 bikes. Our 2 daughters aged 5 and 9 were very comfortable in the back and protected from the wind. For my part, no problem with the electric, it was smooth! And with the itinerary advice we were able to drive for a few hours at a very reasonable price. A place that we recommend!!

    Great welcoming and attentive staff. We hadn't rented our bikes from this place, but we stopped because we had a problem with our bikes. The person who received us spontaneously lent us a tool to repair ours. For that alone I highly recommend and I would consider it for our next rental
