  Easy to book online before arriving and the collection and drop off couldn’t have been easier too - no fuss and very friendly. We also wanted to change a bike halfway through our stay which we did at a different store and this caused no issues. The stores are well located across the island too. Would recommend.

  Bikes we rented were beautiful and in great condition. Wonderful, charming service at the Bois Plage store. But also: we had an issue with one of the bikes on a long trip and a big advantage of Beach Bikes is they have a branch in every town on the island who will be happy to help you. Would not hesitate to recommend.

  I really enjoyed my time with the beach bike! A very suitable kind of bike for making your way around Île de Ré. Rented ours from Le Bois Plage, but there are many across the island making it a breeze to make stops for repairs or to top up the air in the tyres. If there was one criticism, the tyre air pressures could have been checked before rental, but that was easily sorted at one of their locations. Gear adjustment could have been better on one of the bikes too. Important to say that the staff were really helpful and friendly at both Le Bois Plage and St Martin when we visited 👍🏼
