Monvoisin, is a producers restaurant which transforms and promotes local products.
New Rochelais “Renaissance” district on boulevard de Cognehors, opposite the local producers business “Le Panier de nos campaigns”.
Both a brasserie, a take-away kiosk and a café, Monvoisin intends to become the beating heart of this neighborhood with a “village” spirit: a friendly place.
A restaurant (but not only!) Based on the principle of a short circuit, where a social bond is created, where people come to eat, in all simplicity, but also where they come to discuss, have a drink, work, meet...
At Monvoisin, we cook healthy and gourmet.
Because in restaurants, on the go or at home, we all want to:
• eat healthy: know where the products come from, consume fresh produce, seasonal fruits and vegetables, favor organic or sustainable agriculture...
• eating responsibly: reducing waste, promoting animal-friendly breeding, encouraging the work of small producers...
So eating at Monvoisin is a bit as if you yourself had cooked the products you like and which you do good.
Here, the suppliers are local producers, known and selected for their know-how (partly from the Basket of our Campaigns). From these seasonal ingredients, Monvoisin concocts healthy recipes, both simple and full of surprising flavors. Sublimate and highlight the raw materials of a region so generous in natural products (our stars to us), it is a daily pride. And if our commitment responds to the new concerns of our customers, so much the better!
At Monvoisin, we love to cook local vegetables, legumes, cereals and fruits. Comforting seasonal soups, unexpected vegetable curries, chewable vitamin salads, risottos and other stunning one pot pasta made from home production, our artisanal Bleo pasta!... But we also like to sublimate the meat of local breeders and products from the sea fished on our coasts! We have everything at hand, what luck!
From a snack to a big hunger, we taste the dishes of Monvoisin with the assurance of having fun and doing ourselves good.
At Monvoisin, we also enjoy it all day.
From coffee-croissant in the morning to dinner-letting go in the evening, through the express lunch break or the afternoon tea after school and tea with girlfriends: at Monvoisin we come, we come back, we meet there, we meet there at any time!
