Roméo Créateur Givré is located in the port of La Rochelle, at 21 Quai Valin. An artisanal and eco-friendly ice cream maker, everything is homemade.
At its head, Romain Legros, passionate artisan, pastry chef, chocolatier, confectioner, ice cream maker and baker since 2004. He puts his know-how to work to create creations that are as tasty as they are responsible.
Opened in April 2022, the ice cream parlor offers ice creams and sorbets made from carefully selected ingredients : fresh milk from La Vache Charentaise, Montaigu cream, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts from Lot-et-Garonne, Red Mayan chocolate, etc. The sorbets contain 45% fruit for an intense and natural taste. Among the original creations, we find Exquimos, exquim'ours and Cœurs tendres (cookies filled with ice cream). The flagship flavor? Vanitine, a vanilla ice cream enriched with nougatine, pumpkin seeds and sesame.
Ethics are at the heart of the company: compostable packaging, local organic drinks, mostly local and French raw materials, clothing made from recycled materials. Winner of the 2023 Craft Trophies in the “Young Business” category, Romain Legros embodies a new generation of conscious, committed and creative artisans.
