  A craft company deeply rooted in La Rochelle, all our knives are entirely made in our workshops. This quality work has allowed Farol to be labeled Living Heritage Company since 2013. 27 years after the start of the adventure, Farol knives are known throughout the world by sailors and present on the most beautiful tables. Since the first Cachalot model, other models have been developed as table knives. In any case, the object must be beautiful, practical and robust with materials that are pleasant to the touch for the handle and high-quality stainless steel for the blade.
  
  The Encan workshop is a former fishmonger's hut which houses Farol's historic shop-workshop.

Very happy with my purchase fzit knife with a deck blade from the Duchess Anne boat from my town Dunkirk, very well presented package wrapped in boat sailcloth, with a handwritten note of thanks from the team and a document on the history of the boat, very professional, to recommend with your eyes closed

I wanted to give my opinion on my knife I am a collector and I love knives I am also a sailor I spent 20 years of my life on submarines I've been looking for a knife for a long time that I could look at A knife that would serve as my companion I ordered a Forfan I am very impressed with the work done I thank the master cutler again The work is remarkable I'm thinking of ordering again soon THANKS
