    • DISCOVER THE THIBEAU VINEYARD IN CHARENTE-MARITIME

A wine estate steeped in tradition

Located in Vibrac, Charente-Maritime, the Thibeau Vineyard covers 32 hectares of clay-limestone soil, known as "Champagne soil." This unique terroir offers ideal conditions for vine cultivation, allowing the production of Charentais wines, Cognac, and Pineau des Charentes. The south and southwest exposure of the hillside plots promotes optimal grape ripeness, resulting in fruity and authentic wines.

A diversified and environmentally friendly production

The estate cultivates several grape varieties, including Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These varieties allow for a diverse range of wines and spirits, meeting the expectations of wine enthusiasts. Committed to sustainable agriculture, Vignoble Thibeau is certified by the Cognac Environmental Certification (CEC). The estate's commitment is reflected in reduced herbicide use, responsible soil management, and a particular focus on local biodiversity.

      Wine tours and experiences

The Thibeau Vineyard offers immersive tours that take you behind the scenes of winemaking. The tractor-trailer ride allows you to travel through the vineyards while learning about cultivation and winemaking methods. The tour continues with a visit to the cellars and distillery, before concluding with a tasting of wines and spirits. The estate also welcomes motorhomes through the France Passion network, as well as groups wishing to organize private tours.

A family expertise passed down for six generations

The history of the Thibeau Vineyard dates back to the 19th century and continues today with a commitment to combining tradition and innovation. The modernization of the estate, while preserving traditional methods, has allowed for the development of direct sales and ensures quality production, true to the identity of the Charente region.

What is there to discover around the Thibeau Vineyard?
