The cottage is located in an old Charentaise farm, in the small village of Beaugeay, 5 km from the citadel of Brouage. It is near the marshes shaped by the ancient saltworks.
The rental is in a renovated farm, quietly located, it overlooks a large garden of 1000 m².
The Fig Tree Cottage is made up of two adjoining accommodations : a house that can accommodate 4 people and a studio for 2 to 3 people.
Between marshes and ocean, the accommodation is located between Rochefort and Marennes, 18 km from Ile d'Oléron and 10 minutes from Port des Barques beach and its Ile Madame. In the middle of the Brouage marshes and on the edge of the GR360 hiking trail, the place is ideal for walking and cycling around the citadel of Brouage. You can observe birds at the Moëze Nature Reserve and swim at the beach at Port des Barques or Saint-Froult.
The town of Rochefort is easily accessible : discover the Corderie Royale and the famous Hermione frigate.
