The Moëze-Oléron Nature Reserve is an essentially maritime area, between Château-d'Oléron and the Marais de Brouage Reserve in Saint-Froult. On the marsh side, interpretive trails run along the canals to introduce you to this original biotope. Children will appreciate the fun and entertaining tour guide that has been designed for them. A museum is at your disposal to better understand the marine reserve. The Bird Protection League also organizes observation hikes , depending on the season. You will see migrating and nesting birds, endemic to the marshes.
