The Villa Grand Voile, a charming Relais & Châteaux hotel, located in an ^18th century shipowner's house, with its pretty white stone facade and ornate pediment, opens its doors to intimate stays where true luxury is simply feeling good.

Our 11 rooms and suites, all personalized, are named after a fish, shellfish or crustacean and offer an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The marine spirit is also present in the watermark, through the shades of blue, the art objects, the paintings and the shuttered doors : the iodine adventure begins here.

Villa Grand Voile is nestled in a quiet street, just minutes from the bustle of the Old Port and its historic streets. Our restaurants Christopher Coutanceau , 2 Michelin stars, and La Yole de Chris, our marine bistro, are just 500 meters from the villa, our valet will be happy to take you there with the hotel car.

To start the day off right, you can enjoy our seafood breakfast, served at the table, under the glass roof, on the terrace or in your room. It offers a dive into the chef's sea-food world, accompanied by homemade breads and pastries prepared daily by the hotel's baker.

In season, enjoy the interior courtyard and the heated outdoor swimming pool, ideal for relaxing, cooling off and enjoying a drink or an ice cream with your feet in the water. All around, the planted terrace is the meeting place for epicurean moments, with its benches and low tables, our interior garden welcomes “pleasure” moments from aperitif to digestif with a fine selection of drinks, wines, champagnes, cocktails and spirits and for eating, a snack menu.

And if you want more, we invite you to continue in our bar, with a menu of 100% cognacs selected by Nicolas Brossard, in homage to the maritime history of La Rochelle, the port of departure for eau-de-vie to Europe and the Americas.
