    While passing through La Rochelle, we booked a room at the last minute. The hotel is very well located in the city center; everything is within walking distance. The room overlooking the port was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is attentive and very friendly. The only slight drawback is that the hotel doesn't have private parking, but you can park in a nearby paid parking lot and unload your luggage in front of the hotel.

    If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, free from any outside noise... avoid this place! We didn't manage to fall asleep until 5:30 am... It's a shame because the location is fantastic, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
