    • Along the Bunting, step back in time for a walk of about 1 hour. This walk will take you back to the time of prehistoric men on the privileged area of La Roche Courbon, in the middle of a wild and unspoiled nature. You will discover reconstituted camps of Homo Erectus (Héhé camp), Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens (Osapi camp, Ramého camp). Imagine making a fire with Neanderthals to meet in the caves!

At each camp, as well as in the caves, informative panels present the evolution of prehistoric men in our territory, from the arrival of Homo Erectus until the beginning of the Iron Age. Information concerning botany is also visible.

Ti’Silex offers puzzles during the course. A playbook helps children follow him in his adventures throughout the ride. We also offer a printed guide with additional information to complete your visit.

Live a moment out of time!

Warning: bring shoes suitable for walking (hiking type path)

There are much nicer castles in the area that are more worth the visit. We paid €12 each to only roam the grounds (there's a long walk to also see some caves, but we weren't up for that). The interior is only available with a guide only in French, for which we would have needed to wait 90 minutes. The little museum in the keep is very generic about human history in the region, but it's alright. The garden is nice for a little stroll. We left fairly disappointed.

This an excellent place to visit . The Château itself is beautiful , but what really makes an impression here is the grounds , from the formal gardens and lake to the grotto trail , you could easily spend an entire day here . There's also a shop , a restaurant and a prehistoric museum. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful castle. Amazing location and gardens. We came here (in August) on a wonderful, sunny day. Surprisingly there were not many visitors. Probably due to Covid-19. For 8.50 you can walk...

Fantastic castle to visit if you are in the area, it’s well worth booking the guided visit, although ours was in French. The history of the building goes back to the Hundred Years’ War but there is a...
