The Carrières de Crazannes are labeled “Échappées Nature”. This unusual site of Saintonge , takes you into the bowels of the earth, to discover the famous "Pierre de Crazannes". It is at the same time an interesting geological visit , in the heart of a natural site . But also an immersion in the history of its exploitation over the ages. Its museum also shows you an original heritage around the quarrying profession , transport and the use of stone.
