  We arrived at 12:45 PM and waited 30 minutes for the appetizers, then another 30 minutes for the two main courses. The Angus flank steak was tender and cooked to order, but it was served with cold new potatoes, which were then reheated in the microwave after we complained. All this for the modest sum of €80, including a half-pint of beer (25cl) and a 33cl bottle of Evian water. Not exactly "great," to use the slang. Having been regulars at this restaurant in previous years, we were disappointed. They'll have to rethink their approach to ensure the long-term viability of this establishment.

  Au Parloir boasts tasteful decor, a pleasant atmosphere, and a truly welcoming setting. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The welcome felt rather cold and unfriendly. Furthermore, the dishes are presented on the menu as classic recipes, but what actually arrives on the plate is quite different, without this being clearly stated. This reinterpretation might be surprising, but not necessarily in a good way. I ordered the eggplant Milanese for €20, and I was very disappointed to find only one eggplant on the plate.
