    • Loix & Savoine is the only production workshop on Île-de-Ré which produces artisanal soaps, in the village of Loix in the north of the island.

      These donkey milk soaps come from Régis Léau 's farm located on the ramparts of the Vauban citadel of Saint-Martin-de-Ré.

      Come and discover our profession during free visits on Tuesday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m. out of season from March to June then September to November then every day July August from Monday to Friday

      Ticket office open the same day in LOIX at 1:30 p.m.

    Very interesting visit to the workshop, which allowed us to understand how soapmaking works and the subtleties of artisanal soaps. The host was very friendly and cheerful. I recommend this free tour to those who want to learn more about donkey milk soap.

    Very interesting, almost private visit because there were only 7 of us. Clear and interesting explanations. Now we know how to spot real donkey milk soaps. Kenza (the tour leader) was very kind and passionate about her work. We recommend this tour.
