A family history rooted in the land

For two decades, Les Confitures du Clocher has established itself as an essential reference in the field of jams in Poitou-Charentes. This family business, founded by Claude Heraudeau, began its adventure in 1974 with the production of strawberries on the Île-de-Ré. The exceptional quality of the products quickly allowed Claude to stand out, supplying the most renowned gastronomic tables in the region.

The emergence of a recognized brand

In 1993, Françoise Heraudeau took over by launching into the manufacture of strawberry jams. Thanks to her know-how and her passion for fruit, she was able to captivate consumers'palates, leading to immediate success. The company thus grew and began to diversify its range, expanding its horizons beyond simple strawberry jam. Over time, this dynamic has made it possible to develop a rich and varied range of jams and fruit pastes, reaching nearly 60 products today.

      Preserved artisanal know-how

Les Confitures du Clocher are distinguished by their commitment to artisanal production. Bertrand, Françoise's son, took over the reins of the company and has continued to perpetuate this tradition. The fruits used in the jams are carefully selected to guarantee their quality. Although the company no longer grows fruit, a rigorous selection process is in place. This includes paying particular attention to the origin of the fruits, their sugar content, and picking them only when ripe.

      Impeccable quality without compromise

One of the secrets of Les Confitures du Clocher jams lies in their manufacturing. The company refuses to use chemicals or preservatives, favoring natural production methods that respect the health of consumers. This choice denotes a desire to create authentic products that preserve the pure taste of the fruits. Customers can therefore enjoy jams without fear for their health, as part of a balanced diet.

      A rewarding journey

The excellence of the products has been recognized over the years by numerous awards. Les Confitures du Clocher is among the ten most awarded companies in the Poitou-Charentes flavor competition, demonstrating unique know-how. In 2018, the company was crowned the best jam maker in France, an achievement that highlights the quality and authenticity of the jams produced.

Competitions: general agricultural competition, New Aquitaine flavors competition, master jam maker competition.

A varied range for all tastes

Les Confitures du Clocher offers a wide range of jams, from classics to the most original. Fruit lovers can discover traditional recipes, highlighting strawberries, raspberries, and other flavors to discover. For those looking for more daring flavors, unexpected combinations such as citrus fruits or spices are also available. Each jar of jam tells a story, that of a carefully chosen fruit and artisanal know-how.

      A commitment to the future

In addition to their passion for jam, Les Confitures du Clocher
are also committed to sustainable agriculture. The company favors local producers and works to support environmentally friendly agricultural practices. This approach aims to ensure the sustainability of the fruit industry in the region, while offering high-quality products.

Les Confitures du Clocher have established themselves as a pillar of local gastronomy in Poitou-Charentes. Thanks to know-how passed down from generation to generation, a rigorous selection of fruits, and a respect for traditional production methods, they continue to delight consumers'taste buds. Whether for a gourmet breakfast or a tasty dessert, the jams from this family-run house are an invitation to savor the best of the region.
