The Saunier Oyster Production & tasting of shellfish and crustaceans in the heart of the salt marshes

The "Huître du Saunier" cabin has been open since May 1, 2017. A production and tasting place located in an atypical place, in the heart of the salt marshes. You can get there by the cycle path that connects the town of La Couarde to that of Loix, passing by the Tour des Prises to reach the small port of Laid and its famous tide mill. You can go there by car and park in a car park located less than 200 meters away.

In a place in real and direct contact with nature, Jean and Thierry invite you to come and savor shellfish and crustaceans: oysters from the producer, clams, shrimps, whelks fricassee à la plancha and other local products such as samphire velouté or “la Rhétaise” fish soup.
