The cabin of « The Saunier Oyster » has been open since May 1, 2017. A place of production and tasting located in an atypical place, in the heart of the salt marshes. We go there by the cycle path which connects the commune of La Couarde to that of Loix, passing by the tower of Les Prises to reach the small port of Loidais and its famous tidal mill. It is possible to go by car and park in a car park less than 200 metres away.
In a place in real and direct contact with nature, Jean and Thierry invite you to come and enjoy shellfish and crustaceans: oysters from the producer, clams, shrimps, plancha fricassee and other local products such as salicorne cream or "la Rhétaise" fish soup.
