The Hôtel de France, in the heart of Rochefort, very close to the Tourist Office and the famous Place Colbert, welcomes you all year round with its 25 tastefully decorated rooms. Free parking directly opposite the hotel makes parking very easy.
In the heart of Charente-Maritime, Rochefort boasts remarkable sites and monuments that are absolutely worth discovering, such as the frigate Hermione, the Royal Rope Factory, and the Maritime Museum, which offer a fabulous journey into the past. But Rochefort is also the ideal base for exploring the many attractions of the department : the Île d'Oléron, the Île de Ré, the Île d'Aix, and La Rochelle!
Our hotel was built in the 17th century, and has always had this status, a famous French writer even stayed here... Listed as a Historic Monument, this remarkable building has welcomed its visitors through the centuries, combining comfort and a family atmosphere.
