  A lovely, welcoming dining room. The service is friendly but falls short when it comes to correcting a mistake in the kitchen. For starters, a blood sausage presented as a pâté en croûte. Nice at first glance, but due to a lack of proper preparation, the skin of the sausage hadn't been removed. This spoiled the initial impression. For the main course, a venison steak. A small detail that couldn't be more accurate: it was only 150g, the size of a child's steak. It was served on an oversized cutting board. This was quite a shock to the service. I didn't refuse it out of politeness, but honestly, I should have. The sauce was mediocre. What a disappointment. I had chosen it because it looked much more generous at another customer's table. When I pointed this out at the end of the meal, I was told it was a rump steak. Surprising, as there was no rump steak on the menu. I had serious doubts. I think they just gave me the last piece available. No apology or gesture of goodwill, which I would have refused on principle anyway. In short, the place is welcoming, but the food, from what we tasted and considering the price, wasn't up to par. Just another overpriced, mediocre restaurant.
